lolpatrol.org status update
Oh yeah, I'm not the most frequent poster, but in all honesty I never intended to be either.
Writing the codes that make it all work is the fun, not venting my e-rage to strangers.
But still, things I need to update on my site:
1. I really need to fix the "AnimeList". But I'll be damned if I know how :S somehow the preg_match function fails on some parts, no errors whatsoever.
2. Update Projects - I should make a list for completed and shit, add kana.lolpatrol.org, my imagegallery, put the fps on-hold etc.
3. Clean up all the links on the side really.
4. Improve the RSS feed!
5. Update the design, works pretty bad on certain screen resolutions.
6. Make my own visitor statistic counter, statcounter is too lame ;/
7. And lots of other small tweaks.
It's just so damn hard to get back into the walls of code i created a year ago...
Oh, About time i got back to work, I think my boss is glaring at me o.O.

Yay, managed to get 4.kyu grading in Kendo this Monday.
Now, I'll proceed to treat myself to Gi and Hakama(In order to increase my "kendoness").

loLpaTrol - once again helping those in need

Been spending some time there lately, some people ask the silliest of questions...
Anyway, I even got mentioned in a question, I feel so special (Even if they misspelled my name...).
It happened when I made a note on her boyfriend hitting her (she's was the one that mentioned it in another question). Anyway, I did a screenshot <3

And also, Wondering how long I'll last this time. It's actually my third account on Yahoo! Answers. I think the first one got banned within 24 hours or so, the second made it past the scary 666 points but got removed shortly after. This time I'm taking a more gentle approach, being more subtle in my flaming/trolling.

Sooo, been a while, eh?
Since my last update I've gotten a new job, a new apartment, finished a course in PHP programming, finished first step in a Japanese language course, and started doing kendo.
Right now, I'm in the process of moving into my new apartment, so I'm actually kinda busy :P
But once I'm settled, I'll finish my release of kana.lolpatrol.org. As of now, it's barely even a beta, but I've gotten a lot longer, I just need to fix a few things and upload it.
And I've been planning a new image gallery for quite some time now, maybe I'll finally have some time for it afterwards...

Made some progress on my new site, with brand new design, and much better functions.
Will be awesome, I swear! But got plenty on my hands with my japanese course and my PHP programming course too.

Lets make meronpan!
So yeah, I'm currently unemployed, and decided this would be a good time to make som
japanese meronpan (メロンパン)(translates to melon bread, even if there's no melon in it...)!
They turned out pretty decent actually, suprisingly so, as I'm no master baker.
The recipe!
I'll add it later :P

Yay, new cell phone
Oh yeah! I got tired of my two year old sony ericsson w880i, and decided to get a new one!
After some careful speculation, I went for the sony ericsson w995 (mhm, I kinda like them
sony ericsson phones :P).
So far, so good. I use my phone mostly as an mp3 player (main reason I chose the Walkman series...), and the sound quality is great. I'm sure the earplugs included in the package
are great, but it somehow feels weird to put that shit that far in... So I'll be sticking
with my faithful Koss portapro headset.
Bottom line: w995, I'm luuvin' it.

lolpatrol.org has now completed the process of moving to another server!
And will now offer much greater speed, so I might start making a "register on my site" option,
in order to get full use of my increased bandwidth.
PS: Some things might not work 100% yet, as this new server is a linux server, and the old one was a windows server.
Anyway, i'll put up some new images in the gallery soon, have a look if you haven't already. And stop by later for new ones ;)

So, I'm currently working on getting rid of all that aweful ajax code, and converting this site to pure php! As part of that convertion, I'm adding a "register" function, for all you fans out there ^^
I was planning on offering imageupload first and foremost, and fileupload later on.
In time, I will add a "booklist" function too, for keeping track on what books you have in your library, what books you're going to read etc (yeah, I totally copied the idea from MyAnimeList, a great site!).
In time, maybe I'll even add a forum :O

After some hard work, I got my Imagegallery fixed up. At the moment it's still lacking some images, but I'll get right on it!

Hmmm
Seems like moving the site from WAMP server to IIS7 posed more troubles than I
realized at first...
Untill I manage to pinpoint what the problem is, guestbookposting is reserved for registered
members only, but I hope to have it fixed sooner, rather than later.
UPDATE: I fixed it, so go ahead and post in the guestbook folks!

dun dun DUN!
After quite some time, lolpatrol.org sheds its old skin, and gains 5 prettyness
Almost everything has changed, probably no more than 5% code remains from the old site.
Currently I would say this new site conatins ca. 4x times as much code as the old one,
with lots more on the way!
Some pages will for the time being only contain "work in progress", but I will be working
hard in order to get everything up to date!
